Is it possible to do a same day confirmed change via delta.com? During OLCI or using "Change" link on res?

Yes, use "change flight" link on res.

When you go to check-in there will be a change button on the OLCI page. This differs from the regular change button on the res page itself.

I think you hafto start the OLCI process, then select "Change Flight". If you use the change flight button on the reservation before the OLCI process, I believe the system thinks you want to change the whole ticket, which incurs fees, etc. I know it's been discussed before.

I've been able to do this in the past when I'm T-24 from original flight and NOT checked in. HOWEVER, I tried to do this last night and delta.com was throwing an error and had to tweet Delta to get it changed. I think they rolled out a new version of the site recently that hosed a few things.
