When you did the palace tour, did they let people into the dining hall of Gyeongbokgung (what you pictured above)? It was "closed for the winter" in February.

They do let people in 3 times a day at 10am 2pm and 4pm. The tour is in Korean and I guess you have to sign up for it. We did not do it as we had to head back to the airport for the return flight.

Ah. FYI there are English tours at different times (and I think there are Japanese and Chinese language tours as well). I was just curious if it was ever open for people to go in.

Looks fun! Do they always make such a big deal of inaugural flights for new routes or is it just because it's SEA?
Also, nice picture of BFI!

Love the first pic. Under Partners, it says:

I guess DL doesn't have any partner airlines in South Korea

For the general tour they do have English and other languages but for the dining hall tour it is only in Korean. You have to sign up for it I think beforehand.

Out of SEA they do. They have done it with London, Fairbanks and Juno and will be doing it for Hong Kong in a couple weeks. I think they do it for flights out of other cites as well but Delta has not started many new routes in other cities. I know LAX is getting new flights so they might do something for theses flights.

The trey tables have magnets on the side. Always fun to play around with.

That looks like a decent business class meal.. But the Korean font used on the printed menu is kind of ugly, almost to the level of amateurish, especially where it says Wine. Hmm...
