Upgrades on DL for Flying Blue elites
I haven't flown DL this year but I had a colleague who called me today to ask if the upgrade rules have changed for Flying Blue Elites. She is FB Gold - Sky Team Elite Plus and normally she appears on the upgrade list - usually at the very bottom but still appears. But today at the gate in OAK she did not appear. She asked the gate agent if she could be added but was told that she did not appear because she is booked in V class. Are there now class restrictions on partner upgrades? She said that first class flew with empty seats. Not complaining, just curious.
