Missing MQMs

Hi all,

I recently flew JFK - LAX - SEA - PEK (I spent 3 days in LA if that makes any difference before going to SEA and PEK).

I received 4,950 miles for the JFK-LAX leg, which includes the 100% bonus as a PM.

But my account logs that I only received 239 miles for LAX - SEA (no bonus) and 1,352 miles for SEA-PEK (again no bonus). All segments were booked through a travel agency and the fare class is T.

I'm not sure why I received the standard MQMs for JFK-LAX, but not for the rest of the trip? I booked everything through the travel agency, not just the LAX-SEA-PEK part. And everything was on DL and not a partner airline.

I would call in but I'm currently in China and didn't want to rack up international charges, so I figured posting here could help me.

Thanks all in advance!

On DL.com, at Home > My Delta > My SkyMiles > Account Activity, there is a link labeled "REQUEST MILEAGE CREDIT NOW". This link is pretty good - when I recently used it and entered my ticket number, the automation instantly corrected my single missing segment of a four segment international ticket.

That would be a bulk/consolidator fare which only qualifies for 25% mileage on a T fare. That's the risk you take when going through a TA. Just because the TA booked you on a published fare to LAX doesn't mean the fare to PEK was also published (the 3 day layover would cause a fare break). Sorry.

This is a not a missing mileage situation. The OP was pretty clearly on a bulk/consolidator fare which does not qualify for full credit.

That's what I thought. So I was just lucky that the JFK-LAX was a published fare.

Ah well, I did get a pretty great deal on this flight. Now I wonder what'll happen on my way back!

Are you sure these are MQMs?

^ This. Just because the OP booked through a travel agency doesn't necessarily mean it was a consolidator fare. The OP should try getting the miles posted.

Yes, both MQMs and I'm "missing" even more Skymiles since there is no 100% bonus. But I guess it's worth it to call in / fill out that online form? The worst that can happen is they say no, and I'm just back to where I started from. Thanks everybody!
