Should current FO/GO move to Alaska MVP or FlyingBlue?

AS allows EQM on ALL partners. This is not just AA/AF/KL/DL, but BA/CX/AM/EK/LA/KE. Pretty wide swath of options to choose from.
Also... buy Priority Pass or AMEX Platinum with PP Select. Boom, you now have lounge access. (Also, at present AS's lounge offering includes DL's SkyClubs...)

Until the Alaska - Delta relationship changes, Alaska looks like an outstanding choice.
I'm based in NYC and have booked about 13,000 miles in travel so far, half of American and half on Delta based on schedule and price. All miles are credited to Alaska. 75% of the flights are booked with a corporate card. I'll definitely get MVP this year. I book far enough in advance to where I can typically select a non-preferred window seat on Delta and American. In the event I can't, economy comfort / economy plus is available for purchase on both airlines. I'm not going to get upgraded this year as I lost Silver, but MVP gold should get me some benefits next year. Typically, when I have been upgraded, I was the last one to clear, so I don't see why I wouldn't have the same opportunities as an MVP gold vs FO. It's also easy to get Delta lounge access, either via Boardroom membership or through Amex Plat (both cost ~$400).
The question is when does the Delta-Alaska partnership end. Until then, credit to Alaska. The real choice is whether to go with Delta or with Alaska-AA when that choice is forced upon us...
