Interesting -- but if you have a AAA card, know how to get good discounts at Hiltons don't use the $25 coupons and can't stand travel agencies, where is the value in this?

I get spending $299 for something worth at best $225 using the 1 cent per point rule for the 2500 points they give you.

Now if it came with elite status, that's a different story.

The second one seems a better deal, if you use both certs, the full $40 in-flight wifi reimbursement and the delta miles it's $449 for essentially $440 worth of stuff, plus the other hard-to-valuate items (travel and VIP concierge, tech support, roadside).

Odd that this is with Hilton, since Delta is tight with Starwood...

Just because it is a no for you doesn't mean it is a no for everyone.

No so odd when you consider the glue which holds all three together is Amex.

Hilton credit is only usable at actual Hiltons, not any brand in the Hilton family.

1) This certificate only valid toward stay at Hilton Hotels and is not valid for stays at any of the following properties: Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations

I am mostly interested in the 5% off domestic flights. Seems like NO ONE can offer discounted domestic flights anymore...5% over a yr, for someone who travels a lot, is a lot of of $$$$

That's what I saw too...how would that work? Where am I getting my 5% back to?

Seems like it could be a BS benefit.

The rest of this is garbage...It's like trading a $20 bill for 3 $5s

Love your trade $20 bill for 3 $5 bills. LOL

IF someone REALLY got 5% back, in cash, it would be a great deal then. Provided they didn't charge Travel Agent Service Fees.

I called these guys - they claim you fill out a rebate form and get 5% back. She didn't know what fees they charged though.

Maybe OP has some input

Tickets must be booked through XXX Agency. I called them to find out service fees and of course no one answers their phone. Goes to VM even though it's 4:45pm on a Monday and I googled them and could not find a website...seems fishy

on hold again and this time I keep hearing an ad about a "FREE" Cruise....awesome....

twoner32 Feb 24, 2014 3:53 pm

SHOCKED that Hilton would work with a company like this. Was told to call 1-800-716-4809 from Hilton Select.

Call that number and you're sold a cruise...inquire about anything but that and the number hangs up on you. Again, awesome.
