I've seen Hello Kitty at Asian airports and the DL pink breast cancer plane at ATL.

In fact, last month I noticed a pink electric golf cart roaming the terminal at MSP. This was a new one for me.

As far as PanAm is concerned, there is a 727 out there with their classic livery, but it is owned by a railroad company which bought the PanAm trademarks (these are used on its trains, which roll in the state of Maine).

Which prompted me to explore that www site. And browse from there --
N707PA was delivered to PanAm on Dec 19, 1958. Now the registration number for a Cessna 207A owned by Cannery Leasing Co of Friday Harbor, WA.

Also, and this is a reflection of how much safer air travel has become -- according to http://www.logbookmag.com/databases/...D=127&CatID=47, of the 8 707-120 and 139 flown by PanAm, 2 crashed and 1 was "damaged beyond economical repair" after running off the runway at JFK.

I'd like an MD-88 in the classic Widget livery and would like to have a 767 (-300 or -400) in the "Colors in Motion" livery. BTW, I hope whenever the 757 with the "Thank You Jerry" decal is retired that they will move it to another aircraft. Mr. Grinstein saved Delta and I hope he is always remembered.

638 was WFU about 3 months ago now.
Delta did not add the decal to another aircraft sadly.
I agree that something should be done for him.

1) Delta in widget scheme (a 757 in its original livery would work)
2) Northwest in any livery (once again a 757 or A320 would be most realistic)
3) Western (probably would use a 737-800 for this)
4) Northeast (since they were acquired in 1972 nothing in the current fleet looks like an aircraft they operated unless maybe you go with a 717 or paint a 737-800 just because Delta has a large fleet of them and they serve many destinations)

I'd agree on a 738 or 739 for Western, because WA had a bunch of 73Ss and 733s, and nothing looks at all like the 727 (sigh) or D10. A 717 would work for Northeast, because they had a bunch of DC-9-30s, and the 717 is similar sized and has the same profile except for the tailcone.
