Just curious as to what you're talking about. Not that this has anything to do with this thread, but in my over 750k miles in the last 2ish years, I've never seen a thing like this.[/QUOTE]
The poster is just wrong about that. I does not happen with any great frequency. It's one of those things someone watches the screen and they drop down the upgrade list and don't get it. So someone must be given it that did not "deserve" it. It's the downside of such visibility when you don't know what is actually going on.

One of the reasons for DL lounge membership was better IRROPS assistance.

Lounge staff could issue hotel vouchers and meal vouchers. Two different items. They can supposedly not do either, now. Is this an added benefit, in your mind?

I think having the SC agents handle service recovery is a huge benefit for the SkyClub for the same reason others have mentioned. Often times during weather-aggedon type situations the "I need help" station has a line with 500 people it and the SkyClub has a waiting line of 4-10.
This is amplified even more for customers who Silver/No status (and flying coach) but ARE SC members, because they can't use the SkyPriority line at the "I need help" desks.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Folks, it is becoming tiresome and absolutely ridiculous to see every thread go off topic with personal remarks and attacks that are uncalled for and requires intervention from the moderators. Is it really so difficult to have a civil discussion without this occurring?
Simply put, there was an observation made by the OP regarding the food vouchers which has not been confirmed by any official announcement from DL. I am closing this thread down until this alleged new policy can actually be verified. At that point in time please notify the moderators and we will consider reopening this subject.
These personal attacks and off topic posts must stop as the people making them are ruining the experience for other members that come here for real information and also enjoy using FT. The moderators will enforce the TOS in any thread where this continues to happen!
