I'd like folks to start posting the brand of pizza delivered. Some pizza is great ok, some is meh, and others are inedible. Does Delta go the el cheapo route or do they deliver a quality pizza? Sounds like VPS might have some good stuff at least.

Is this string about grammar, pizza, or customer service? I can't tell.
But seriously....some people will complain about anything.
They did not feed me.
They fed me pizza.
They fed me sandwiches but the people in ATL got pizza.
We got dominos but the people in VPS got papa john's.
The meal voucher was only $6 but my ham sandwich was $6.50.
I am of the firm belief that my food, diet, etc. is my responsibility.
ANY gesture is a good thing if you ask me.
Way to go DL.

Again, this is my question to those of you who label us as whiners, gamers, losers, etc. Please read carefully.
Delta once gave us meal vouchers
Delta no longer gives us meal vouchers
- Not even if your flight is severely delayed
- Not even if you are on a high fare class
This change equals a decrease in value.
Why should I celebrate this change?

It's pretty simple actually. Delta made a decision to switch from food vouchers (That you can't afford to get anything with, have you guys seen the prices with some of these airport vendors???) to pizza. If you don't want pizza, you are more than welcome to go buy your own food. If that doesn't suffice you don't fly Delta, no one is forcing you to. Last time I checked, Delta does not control ATC or weather. With regards to MX planes break, that is a matter of life. Again, if you are not satisfied don't fly Delta. The end.

And as someone who can't eat pizza (and remain non-diabetic), I think the pizza option is worthless.
But then, when PMNW broke two tow bars on the same airplane, the $10 vouchers given after everything at MSP except McDonalds had closed for the night were equally worthless.

So, the only person guaranteed to get a decent meal in the event of an MX is the non-ticketed PAX whose meal prompted this thread:
