What is your MQD/MQM Ratio?
Other threads are trying to track other factors (like MQDs to Actual Dollars Spent). For me the MQD/MQM ratio is more important. My "travel mix" next year will probably be similar to this year. By "travel mix" I mean the combination of routes and fare classes. Maybe this should be called "travel style."
Here is my calculation as of today:
Flown MQMs = 75,360
Non-Flown Miles (including roll-over MQMs) = 6,346
Total MQMs = 81,706
MQDs = 7,916
Flown D/M = 0.105
Total D/M = 0.097
Since we need to maintain a 0.100 ratio to reach the MQD threshold for each level this tells me the rollover MQMs will not mean much for me. In order to make PM in 2015 I will have to earn 75,000 MQMs.
Calculate your Flown D/M ratio. Are you above or below 0.100?

Sorry but IMO this is not necessarily valuable for everyone. For example, some here receive 50K MQM's from Amex but may never get on a plane. Their MQD/MQM is zero but they are still GM.
And then there are those with lots of r/o who may fly very little. R/o gets them to the next elite level but their ratio can be pretty small. Or pretty big because they buy more expensive fares.
Bottom line, everyone needs their .10 to hit their elite level unless they qualify through AmEx. DL now gives us our YTD spend so it is very easy to see at a glance.

MQMs: 49,565
MQDs: $8,814
D/M: 0.1778
Looking thru the details of all activity, seeing some VERY low MQDs for many flights. Seems the M class fares did well, though...figures.

My MQMs are only from flights. I fly out of ERI, 3-5 transatlantics per year, the balance are flights east of the Rockies. had 22k MQM roll over will hit diamond this year. MQM below does not include roll over.
MQM 80,727
MQD $14,067

0.136, with only 57k MQM so far.
Not planning to requal for DM this year because of the SkyClub devaluation, but generally the MQD isn't going to affect me.

Only 30735 MQM this year (w/o rollover) with $1876 in MQD...ratio of .06; looks like I'll need to spend on the Amex card in order to qualify for gold/platinum.

Running very below average here on MQM, may have to step it up.
Total MQM: 62,948
Flown MQM: 51,500
MQD: 7,807
$.15
A couple of mileage runs and I would still be under the $.10

$1652 for 80,000 MQM, so about 0.2
However, I had 60,000 MQM before I even flew a single segment, so it's more like $1652 for 20,000 MQM, so 0.8 (still not the 1:1 ratio required but AmEx takes care of that).

Huh? $1652/80,000 = 0.02065 or about two cents per mile. Similarly, $1652/20,000 = 0.0826 or about eight cents per mile, where the "target" is ten.

.05. It's been ticking up slowly with some additional purchases, but is way low due to AF 057 stock tickets I like to complain about every chance I get.
Hit DM for next year already, and am now looking at VX and AA since rollover is essentially, like SDC, no longer a consideration.
