I just did a quick search on dl.com using Dec 04 as a date. DL2168 MSP-LAX is operated by a 763. I'm sure that if you search around a bit, you'll find the occasional MSP-ATL or MSP-SLC flights that are used to reposition aircraft.

I'm surprised how often airlines run widebodies on hub-hub routes.
I remember about 15 years ago, I used to fly US863 CLT-PHL every week, and it was operated by a 762. IIRC, the aircraft flew FRA-CLT and had a maintenance check in CLT before flying CLT-PHL and the onto another TATL destination.
Oh, and every week, US863 was late. EVERY week. It was something about giving the plane 3 hours to do a 4 hour maintenance check. Or something like that.

I've flown MSP-LAX, MSP-SEA and I believe both have 767s scheduled regularly.
If you're looking for internationally-configured widebodies, that's a different question though.

[QUOTE=twtrvl;21192886]They cancelled the HNL one a while back.
I don't know if there's a way to check without just running individual searches by destination. I'd be interested to find out.
I take it you don't have a particular destination in mind, correct?
Nope, No particular destination.
AHAHAHAHA

Enable advance routing code, one way search (add/remove cities as necessary)
from: LGA, JFK, DTW, ATL, MCO, CVG, MEM, MSP, SLC, LAX, SFO, SEA, PDX :: dl / aircraft t:767
to: LGA, JFK, DTW, ATL, MCO, CVG, MEM, MSP, SLC, LAX, SFO, SEA, PDX
Replace 767 with 777, 747, 330 , use calendar search, etc
You should also be able to use 763, 764, 332, 333 ,etc
767, for msp, example:
msp-sea dl 996 , dl 1453
777:
atl-lax, lax-atl one flight most days
330:
Flight Aug 18 dtw-sea
Flight Aug 19 atl-dtw
747:
nada

As of now, DL 2268, the redeye from LAX to MSP next Wednesday morning is a 767-300 (I plan to be on it). I know the seat map is no judge, but as of now a DC9-50 could handle the load with room to spare. I assume it is relocating for a morning flight out of MSP
edit - I take it back, I misread the seating chart. Still hard to be believed, but the plane is nearly full in economy! I'll be curious how it turns out.
Cheers,
Pogopossum

I know it's not MSP but doesn't Delta fly a 767 from DTW-ATL and back every weekday? I've been lucky enough to grab it twice. Usually it's too early in the day for me though. I'm on one Sept 22 which is a Sunday. Kinda weird as I've never seen that one before. Maybe I'm not usually looking that early in the day... I'll start having to search for it as it is more likely i'll get the upgrade.
