Upgrading from Premium Eco to Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic

With the new partnership between Delta and Virgin Atlantic, I was wondering if anyone had any information on whether upgrades can happen using miles or SWU between S/W fares and Upper Class? I know Virgin allows its frequent flyers to use their miles for upgrades.

Any advice from those in the know would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.

At this time there are no SWU or mileage upgrades

Still pretty early in the partnership, the two airlines haven't received anti-trust immunity yet so it could be a future development.

What if it's a DL marketed flight operated by Virgin Atlantic (e.g. DL 4375)?
