im flying DL metal JFK-LHR with a KLM flight number (ticket issued by AF). As a PM will this give me clubhouse access in JFK and revivals access in LHR? The website only says DL operated so I think I should be ok, but I assume my DL boarding pass will show the KLM flight number

Yes you'll get in. May have an agent question it though. Note, VS and AF/KL have a partnership now. However I'm not aware of the elite benefit terms of that relationship, which may require being a FB elite.

it hasn't finished all the regulatory approvals yet - current anticipated date early 2019.

Neither AF or KL are listed on the VS website as partners for example. VS is not listed on the fling blue website as a partner. Nor it is listed on the KLM website.

FB status does nothing with VS at the moment.

Just saw signs mentioning it in a VS Clubhouse so thought they had finally gotten approval. I'm guessing they're trying to get word out before it becomes effective.

Would this baggage allowance be valid on an itinerary that starts on another SkyTeam carrier? I'm looking at an itinerary that is CPH-AMS-MAN-MCO with the CPH-MAN legs on KLM in first/business and the MAN-MCO in UC on VS.

Would each passenger be permitted 3 x 32kg + 1 x 23kg? What about carry on limits? Thanks!

If I book via Delta.com a flight ATL-MAN and return which is flown on VA aircraft (DL4355/VS110 and DL4354/VS109) it does not show any equivalent to "Economy Delight" class. Do I just book Economy on Delta and then after my ticket is confirmed, upgrade to an Economy Delight seat through Virgin's web site?

On past trips, I think I recall booking through Delta onto Virgin Atlantic flights then immediately purchasing an "extra legroom" seat. Just not sure if the same process applies after VA rejiggered their economy offerings...

Carry on is always per the operating carrier policy. Thus it can change if you connect between airlines.

You wouldn't be checking in with VS, so any VS benefits wouldn't matter. KLM who is in ST would be checking your luggage and they do give extra baggage allowance.

It won't work like that anymore I'm afraid as Economy Delight is now it's own separate fare class. Is there an option to buy Comfort Plus through DL.com? Those should be equivalent and would get you booked into ED if so. If not you'll probably have to make the booking through VS.com and choose ED through there.

Delta.com listed Economy Comfort as "Not Available" (presumably equivalent to Economy Delight) and "Premium Select" (presumably equivalent to Premium Economy) as "Sold Out".

I'm guessing the Sold Out one is because these ex-Berlin Air 332's haven't been upfitted with Premium Economy seating. So for whatever reason, Delta just isn't mapping Economy Delight into Economy Comfort yet. The Virgin Atlantic web site does show Economy Delight seats available.

Pretty sure I know the answer is yes to this but if I book through VirginAtlantic.com can I accrue SkyMiles instead of Flying Club points?

Yep - just put your SkyMiles number in on your booking :-)

Will I have access to the Virgin lounge in T2 upon arrival at LAX? I'm Delta Diamond flying upper class on VS 7 (LHR-LAX) then connecting to a Delta flight 3 hours later. I know the lounge will be open because VS 8 departs at 3:35 PM, VS 142 departs 6:30 PM and I arrive just after noon.

Virgin or Delta Lounge at JFK

Hi - apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Myself, my wife and children will be flying into JFK arriving 10am, and departing on VS4 at 7:30pm. I understand the Virgin Clubhouse does not open until 2:30pm. Would we have access to any other lounge? Would we be able to check in? We are flying Delta from MCO but on a seperate ticket. Any help/advice/tips gratefully received as I'm worried we're going to be sat around with our luggage for 4 hours...... Thanks everyone

How are you accessing the clubhouse? Status? Upperclass ticket? Some other method?

Most likely you would have access to the delta skyclub, but particulars might matter.
