Question for Million Millers at Delta

Hello,

My first post...is a question: if you become a MM at Delta and you fly 26,000 miles, do you go up to Gold, or are you still just Silver?

Thanks!

You stay silver. The only difference is if you fly less than 25,000 miles, you will still stay silver.

Welcome to posting, Backseatpilot. ^

There are four ways to hit the Gold level...

[1] Fly 50K MQM's

[2] Enough CC spend to earn 50K MQM

[3] Combo of the above

[4] Gift from a Diamond

Well, there is one other way. Fly a million miles with UA.

Dear Delta:

Please change this. If you do, I might spend a few of my own bucks and try and make DM again next year.

Sincerely,

That is one thing I wish DL would change that would not hurt them. Give all MM 25K MQMS at the beginning of the year, etc. Especially with as much as FO has been downgraded.

Fixed that for you.

You have a better chance of success with the Easter Bunny.

Dream on! 2MM here. DL has a terrible MM program... a complete slap in the face to anyone who's shown loyalty to DL over the years. It's one of the main reasons I never fly them..... along with

1. Terrible award availability
2. Terrible award booking engine
3. No international UGs on reasonable fares.
4. No flat bed J yet on many international flights.
5. No international F
6. No IFLs
7. SDC policy
8. No partner awards on international F
9. Stealth elimination of complimentary SC membership for Asian GMs.
10. No OW awards
11. No close in award cancellations or changes
12. SC Beverages

Oh.... and a complete lack of a candor (to put it generously) on the part of management.

Pretty good airline though if you need to fLy ATL<>DTW once a year.

But, how do you really feel?

And yours is only a partial list...

.
1. Disagree.
2. Agree.
3. Don't care.
4. What is the definition of "many" and what is the current percentage?
5. Does this this really matter? Maybe they should just call it F. Oh but then the people who are authorized to purchase J in instead of F would be upset.
6. I don't even know what a IFL is.
7. Agree.
8. Agree.
9. I couldn't care less.
10. Don't care.
11. Agree.
12. Don't care.

Yes, but UA MM only counts BIS miles.

DL is crappy to MM though. They could do two things and I would love the MM program there. 1. Give SkyPriority to MM and 2. Give better UG priority within elite level to MM (above Reserve card).

I do like the Hartman luggage, it fits nicely in the CRJ900's.
