DL879 BOS-JFK is 757 BizElite config mid June~July

Checked a few dates mid June through July and it appears the biz elite 757-200 is on this route.
Check in August/Sept and did not see it.
Not a long enough flight to recline and get a goods night sleep though ;-)

Delta 879 Boston (BOS) 2:45pm New York-Kennedy (JFK) 3:59pm Boeing 757-200

wow - used to have those a few years ago in the rotation on that route. will make that ground hold (usually longer than the flight) much more comfortable!

More than once a thunderstorm has resulted in me enjoying a 2+hr ground stop on the tarmac. Free Woodford and Sun Chips in 1st! LOL

Reminds me of the JFK-BDL and JFK-PHL 767ER flights in 2000. IIRC, these flights were flown just to get airplanes off of the congested JFK ramp.

Well, I'm certainly not complaining.

What's the inbound to BOS? Also from JFK? Or rotating from elsewhere?

It appears to be rotating in from JFK M/Th/F/S. I was hoping for an upgrade to 752 on the new LAX route :-)

Old-fashioned cradles, for the time being.

LAX equipment and frequency upgrades would be nice, but sadly we have no 757 BusinessElite service in BOS.
