Not sure if it was previously posted... but does anybody know how we can get butts into the plane repositioning flight after the final revenue DL158 ICN-DTW flight on 17DEC?
DL9771 is the farewell flight on the B744. Over 2 days, it will be scheduled to fly DTW-PAE-SEA-ATL-MSP-ATL after touching down on 17DEC.
Any advise?

As of today, the DTW-SEA flight and the SEA party are not unreasonable at 73,000 miles. But with 15 days of bidding left...?
I’m glad to have done 2 Tokyo turns in Feb and July.
And a 3 or 4 flights last year.

I’m on the final revenue flights of DTW-ICN and ICN-DTW, but the farewell tour and private party is also intriguing. The only one that would work with my schedule is the ATL-MSP flight, but I need to see how many SkyMiles these are going to go for before I decide to bid or not.
With all the fanfare United made of their 747 retirement, I was wondering if Delta was going to let the Queen go silently into the night. Guess not! Perhaps they were waiting to release these party plans until they were the sole U.S. operator.

I'm hoping even in coach there will be a lot of fanfare, not just unsuspecting travelers who don't care about the Queen.

I’m slumming it in C+ as well - I don’t expect the GUCs to clear for these flights given the nature of them. I heard yesterday there were only 4 Delta One seats left. See you there!
