What was that thing about "common sense" in that ad earlier this year?

E-mail Delta, you'll get a few thousand pesos.

Yes, he'd had a few rounds of Buds and vodka shooters before takeoff.

I would have just temporarily moved back to the original seat and told her to get me a vodka soda and be quick about it.

Let's be fair here...do you really think the FA should start playing those games? What is she supposed to explain to the passenger sitting next to you when he wants a free drink too?

Oh this guy really should be sitting in EC but he moved here - that's why he gets a free drink and you don't?

In my view, if you moved from your EC seat you lose your free drink

+1 - This is exactly why DL's policy makes sense. Drinks are free in EC. OP chose to DG himsel as it were and still wants EC service. That's a choice he made.

It creates more ill will, delay and appearance of unfairness to start charging different amounts to different pax in the same type of seat. So, you makes your choices in life and OP made his.

Really? Even if the pax is brandishing his EC boarding pass, and his seat is lying empty in plain view. It is understandable if the pax moves five rows behind, but I doubt if any ill will is created when everything is clearly on the up and up.

+1. Passenger moved to make himself and fellow passengers more comfortable. This is stupid and shows no common sense.
