Pretty rough weather earlier in MS; 1 tornado touched down with death and injuries. Supposed to be bad in AL & GA overnight. Be safe.

My bet is ATL will be closed for an extended period tonight with mass diversions affecting a lot of flights tomorrow ...

Sitting on the tarmac at MCO waiting for ATL to clear us. So far we've been given a 45 minute delay followed by an additional 30 minute delay.

According to the FAA the next update time before they let anyone start to come in is at 2230 local. By the looks of that storm system, it looks like you will be returning to the gate in MCO.
