Code Share & Baggage Question
 

I have never flown on another airline as code share (KLM plane in this case) with Delta. I will be going to CDG to AMS to get a return my fiinal flight to the U.S. When checking in at CDG which airline do I go to? Delta or KLM who is operating the actual flight? Tickets were bought from delta.com

Other question is baggage. My receipt says 1 free bag per person (I am silver). Looking at the Delta website it appears that silvers get one additional free bag above the standard bag allowance. Is my receipt incorrect and I actually get two free bags?

you check in with the operating airline (although i believe that klm is handled by AF in this case anyway). in any case, when coming to CDG the signs there will tell you what desks to use to check in.

I believe that KLM's rules apply here, so you should only get one bag. But I let others confirm that, it's been a while that I have been silver.

I ended up calling Delta as I had a third question.

They said I do check in with KLM at CDG as they are operating the flight.

Baggage I get 1 additional free checked above the standard. So 2 total, even on the KLM flight.

Third question was on not being able to select seat assignments for the CDG to AMS leg.
