Error Bonus RDM
 

I took a flight this week where I was upgraded. When the miles posted, I got the 100% RDM bonus twice. I assume this is just an error and not because I was upgraded? What's the chance that those miles will stay in my account? Has this happened to anyone else?

I wouldn't want to use those miles and then have them try to take them back out of my account... once they're in the account, do they ever take them back?

Wait a couple of weeks and see what happens. If they're still there after that, they'll probably stay.

The odds of them staying in your account are much greater if you don't post about it on FT. Consider it a "bank error in your favor" and delete your post!

Especially if your name really is mr_burdell.

Delta knows your first name is George, Middle Initial P, they will find you!

Looks like DL is fixing this slowly. My double 125% DM bonus on yesterday's flight is now a single bonus. The double 50% class of service bonus is still there...for now...

I'm kind of surprised that they would take time away from fixing the award calendar to work on something like this.

Mine was fixed as well (double GM miles from CA to NYC). Simultaneously, the erroneous MQMs promised on an AF W fare--subject of a different thread I started--have been fixed. So somehow DL's system seems to be correcting erroneous RDMs awarded (past flights) and erroneous MQMs promised (future flights) all in one fell swoop.

DL has people assigned to fix the award calendar?

It happened to me too. I had a double platinum medallion bonus on my last trip. It stayed for two days and then disappeared. Bummer.
