Looking to get a Delta Amex for bonus points for use on my honeymoon.
Which offer is the best one going? Also, anyone have a great Amex Starwood Preferred offer link as well? Thx. |

I don't think there is a good Delta offer right now. nothing in the Milesbuzz thread. Amex.com has 10k miles after first purchase for the gold or platinum.

Honestly, the best offer is the 50,000 membership rewards points after $1,000 spend in 3 months from the AMEX Premier Gold card
followed by the 45,000 SkyMiles for the Gold Delta AMEX from CreditCards.com as noted on The Point Guy's blog: http://thepointsguy.com/2013/02/saturday-recap/ If you can get these, that would be 95k after $6,000 spend in six months. |
Greysword is right, the Amex offer is the best around right now--the Amex points convert 1 to 1 to Delta Skypesos.
But, Skypesos are not good for much, very hard to use for flights--although folks have some luck with Korean to the Orient and Virgin to Oz. And, occasionally, Amex/Delta have 50-60K bonus offers for the card. I snagged both a personal and business card a year or two ago when that offer came up. Still haven't been able to use the miles. :td: AA and UAL are much, much more useful. As to SPG Starwood, Amex often has a late summer offer for 30k bonus. Also keep in mind that you can often get a 5K bonus for a friend by having them refer you if they are SPG members. |

Thanks. My goal is specific and requires Delta in order to get tickets on China Southern to BKK for my honeymoon.
