"Fare Rules Unavailable" Really?

This appeared on Delta's website during the booking process. (So I haven't booked yet.) Any theories? New glitch?

WFRBFR.

But seriously, if you have a problem you know they'll throw the fare rules back in your face, so they really ought to be (must be) available to you when you buy. Just in case, if you buy without seeing them I suggest having a screen shot and printout with you.

On a tangential note, if there are U and T availability on EF why is DL only showing me L fares?

Fare rules . . .

Certain routes will have restrictions on U/T fares such as a saturday stay, advance purchase, etc... where the U/T/E fares are 'available' but aren't bookable for your specific itinerary.

Pretty much whenever I have a complicated booking I get the 'fare rules unavailable' message.

Just because there is lower fare class availability, it doesn't mean there are lower class fares available. Lots of times those require extra advance purchase or something similar.

Or lots of times there just flat out aren't any published fares in the lowest classes on the route in question for the dates in question.

Fair enough, I was just pointing out that it may have nothing to do with advance purchase requirements (though sometimes it does).
