Closet in A319

Good morning FT,

Does the A319 have a closet at the front of the cabin (aka can I get away with carrying on some hanging clothes without having the put them in the overhead bins)?

Thanks all!

Indeed, there are two closets on the A319.

I'm pretty sure the only closet for (first class) passenger use is on the starboard side of the forward galley. There's a similar closet on the port (boarding door) side, but in many dozen A319/A320 flights I've never seen it used. I think it is just for emergency equipment.

Doesn't change the answer, though — yes, there is a closet for FC coats. In fact, I think all DL a/c have them, which is nice compared to US and UA that have gotten rid of the FC closet on several equipment types.

Most Delta aircraft certainly do have closets for passenger coats, but not all (e.g., E170). Learned this the hard way a few months ago.
