DL2101 BOS-ATL (M90) evacuated at BOS

WCVB here in Boston is reporting 2101 BOS-ATL was evacuated before takeoff at BOS. They say it's an MD-90....and what I just saw on TV confirms it's an MD-90 (on their iPhone app they posted a picture which looked like an M88)

Fire trucks on scene, and passengers are being bussed back to the terminal. It looks like the fire crews actually used something that looked to be right under the engines. Could not see the registration but it looked like a -DN.

News just reported that it might be something with the brakes.

5:12pm
The picture on the iPhone app shows 1L door opened, busses and firetrucks at the front. What I saw on TV a few minutes ago was the right side of the a/c (with that I confirmed it was a -90 not an -88), fire extingushing material directly under the rear of the a/c with the engines. Also passengers were walking into the terminal via a staircase at A22

5:15pm
People were taken off the plane on a staircase, no evacuation slides used.

5:21pm
Passenger on-board who got connected to the news station said that the brakes locked up and there was a small fire. Could smell it in the cabin. Fire department had stairs there already, it wasn't a major panic for them. Plane is on a taxiway, probably near either 9-27 or 15R-33L (wind has been heading west for the most part today). They are on a taxiway next to a runway because there was a live shot with a plane using that runway.

5:30pm Found the ship on FlightAware, N932DN

Just missed it. Though it would have been more exciting than last month's tug/de-icer truck tarmac accident, which was in and of itself pretty cool. The A/C shuttle driver made a special stop to show me the carniage.

Interesting... Flight tracking app on my iPhone is showing the bird in flight right now. As if it had no problems.

DL app is showing flight will be departing shortly.

Looks like it was N932DN, an MD-90.
