Delta: PLEASE do something about the spinning plates!!

This drives me nuts! The dinner plates spinning around on the faux wood trays. Every time you try to cut something with the knife and fork or pick up something with your fork, the plate spins around. Today I had to put the chicken on the bread plate, cut it, and place it back on the dinner plate.

PS -- when you've solved that problem, please replace the George Jetson style glasses! Argh!

I put one of the paper napkins under the plate. sometimes i have to fold it and put it toward the edge. It is kind of fun to see what will need to be done to keep the plate from spinning around. I feel your pain.

+1. I'm already at that point which it is tolerable, but it still drives me up a wall from time to time.

Wow, if this is the biggest problem in your life, you got it made!

This happened to me yesterday.

I don't agree with the above comments. Obviously getting from point A to B safely is most important. However, this isn't nitpicking given First should be a "premium" cabin and DL's efforts to monetize first class. It's all the little things that add up that cheapen the experience and therefore the brand. Leading, "big global" airlines outside the US focus on the details.

I say add spinning meal plates to the list that includes cocktail napkins with ad's.

Add one of Michelle Bernstein's entrees, a dull knife, and some turbulence and you've captured the mess.

Agree. Posts like this could be put on the list and voted on as to which is least!

This is a forum where people add dozens of threads daily about the incredibly narrow topic of flying on Delta. Not everything is going to be life or death, so ease off the criticism.

Don't know where you're coming from with your comment, but to each their own!

Then please tell us 'decider of when to criticise', when can we criticise? Please read every post and let us know when and where you have decided that it's appropriate, and not.

Thanks in advance
