Using cancelled flight credit

Hi all,

Booked the wife a flight to NYC on delta, she ended up needing to return early for work and booked a separate jetblue flight to return. I cancelled the delta flight online after she took the outbound.

Fare class was based on one-way travel, so there should be a credit for the return flight of around $80 after the $150 change fee. I have the ticket number and confirmation but it won't show up online under the Certificates/Credits option. I'm trying to book a new flight in February using the ticket credit.

1) Do I have to call in to get this redeemed? Is there a trick to get it to redeem online?
2) Do I have to pay a phone fee for this?

Does she have a FF # with delta and did you logon to it. If no you might have to book over the phone.

Has the OP tried to search for the credit on delta.dumb? When logged in, at least before the website changes, there was an option to search for a cert. I would try entering the previous ticket number and see if it appears.
