HOOUs. How do I get them??
 

Hey all - HOOU question. Many people have talked about getting handfuls of them... How in the world do I do this?

My travel is about 85% international which includes intraeuropenflights.

On the outbounds a HOOU prints on my BP since I'm Ex:USA. Usually I get upgraded and fly EC so by the time I get to my return segment it has expired.

However since I have to Connect in Europe, I always have to checkin and print from KLM/AF. Thus, no HOOU on the BP!!

Many times given my late night returns my USA-HOME segment is on a non- FC CRJ and I'm left without any HOOUs.

I recently asked customer service if they could mail me a few when I was requesting mileage credit for a missing AF flight but they told me in their best KLM fashion "this is not possible".

I know this is obviously trivial but sometimes I enjoy a cocktail on my way home

Any words of wisdom?

You should receive some in your PM packet each year.

Tell your HOOU story to a Red Coat. They usually have several free drink tickets in their pocket, and will probably give you a couple.
