DPS lounge
Neither DL nor KLM mentions this lounge on their sites, but was given access to the Premier Lounge in DPS as a ST E+ flying on KLM. One of the nicer lounges I've been in too -- enormous, with pretty good hot food, and about the only place in this dump of an airport with air conditioning.

Whoa - that's harsh. DPS is no Changi, but I'd hardly call it a dump. Many more worthy contenders for that description: DAC, LOS, ABJ, etc. fall readily to mind.
Nicer lounges? Did you see the shower room?! Far from it IMO. |

KLM lounge in DPS is not good and I am amazed that they CX and SQ still use it as well. I was there in August and flew J from DPS to SIN. food was dreadful wine undrinkable and beer warm, as a Brit the last bit would have impressed if it had not been larger.
Anyway, biggest issue was no free wifi and this is an absolute disgrace in any premium cabin lounge anywhere. frustratingly as we walked to the KLm gate we passed 3 other lounges all of which offer free wifi and all of which could be accessed by priority pass.. I did not go in but in the past have used Prada which is perfectly reasonable on on a par with KLM offering via the premier lounge. Personally while I think the lounges are poor they are light years away from the domestic offerings by priority pass.....now those really are a shocker! |
That lounge in DPS is embarrassing. I used it flying CX Business recently and was appalled. 2 beer limit? Disgusting bathrooms and horrible food? No free wifi? Not sure what you found nice about this lounge.

DPS is undergoing a major expansion and upgrade. They're building a whole new terminal building to which all international flights will be moved, and the current terminal building will be shifted to domestic use. The new terminal is supposed to be ready for a major international summit next year, but this is Indonesia...
So, for a better lounge experience, stay tuned. |
Korean Air - lounge
The Korean Air lounge at DPS was horrendous and we even saw a rat run across the floor!
Also, it is good to not that Korean air charged $20 USD cash when checking in for a departure. The IDR equivalent is a little less. |

To reply to another poster: yes, I wish airlines collected Indonesia's weird entry & departure taxes in fares. They don't. Oh well. |

It's included in the ticket price from February 2015.

It's a contract lounge. When I was there, you were forced to walk up the stairs to use it as the single elevator didn't work. Some bad wine was hidden, but given that Indonesia is a Muslim country (although Bali isn't) this isn't surprising. I also tried the outdoor deck, but it was filled with smokers and their butts.
