Magazine subscriptions.
 

Hey all. I wanted to know if anyone had any info on getting miles from magazine subscriptions. I know that I can redeem miles for them, but wanted to see if I could gain any.

There are several magazine partners in the SkyMiles shopping mall that are magazine consolidators:

Magazines.com at 18 miles/$
ValueMags.com at 15 miles / $
Magazineline.com at 12 miles/$

But note that you may be able to earn more bonus miles elsewhere -- for example, Chase Ultimate Rewards gives 30/$ for Magazines.com, 25/$ for ValueMags, and 20/$ for Magazineline.

It seems like any flight out of my local airport (JAC) takes 32k miles offpeak. With this requirement, I wonder if its worth it to subscribing for magazines at a few hundred miles.

Right now skymiles shopping has Magazines.com at 30 miles/$. I was planning on getting some magazines fir gifts anyways. I was wondering if the shopping portal is good at actually posting these bonuses. Its normally 12mi/$ so this is substantial bonus.
