There's no Admiral's Club either, or any other airline-affiliated club. Apparently there is not enough demand at LAS for airline lounges as it is extremely lounge-poor for its size. It appears that "The Club at LAS" has recently opened up as well, and access would be available for all Priority pass, including select. Day passes would also be available.

Programs: Now just a lowly DL PM/1MM. This industry needs some competition. It's just not enjoyable anymore.

Do you have a source? Great news IF true, but I doubt it.

Seems unlikely as D is the newer concourse at LAS. I am not holding my breath.

The United Club is adequate for me right now. It is generally not crowded. Unlike many SC's.

I am surprised we haven't heard the usual PHX/DEN complaints yet....

Phx at least has us clubs for the Amex crew. Den really needs and deserves a skyclub.

There, mentioned.

I never realized that DEN doesn't have an SC. Delta has 44 daily departures and serves 14 cities (4 international) non-stop either on DL metal or via a codeshare partner. That has to be one of the more impressive schedules at an airport lacking a SkyClub.

OP: I am with you. Let me know if you r thinking of a Class Action or something and count me in.
Hey... SBN has a nice new terminal and just to the right out of frame is a bar with draft beer and 1/2 hour free wifi! Not a Skyclub but for SBN very nice!

I recommend just hanging out on the "wheel of FORTUNE" machines...
I definitely recommend against this. Slot machines are a horrible bet but if you like to play them, play at a casino where the payout ratios are better.

If you go in with a budget (all of which you expect to lose), slot machines can be a lot of fun--especially penny and nickel slots. I just think of it like spending money on bowling or golf... You get a few hours of entertainment for a predetermined price.

If you expect to reinact te scene from "Vegas Vacation" ("I put in a dollar, I won a car. I put in another dollar, I won another car....") then you'll quickly get into trouble.

We actually have pretty good luck in the airport. I am about 50/50 leaving the airport with more money than I walked in with. This is a lot better than my luck on the Strip.

Quick story. Last year my flight on US was cancelled LAS-PHX-TUS so I bought a one-way ticket on WN LAS-TUS (not too pricey and I really wanted to get home). While waiting for the WN flight I won $1300 at a nickel machine.

This is good news for us AMEX PLT holders....website is a little confusing though - unclear if this is open or "coming soon," but called them and they confirmed it is open

i commuted between IAD & LAS for 2 years (albeit on UA), but the majority of folks traveling to/from LAS are leisure travelers. it's not an elite heavy market...i'm actually surprised the new UA management team hasn't shutdown the united club there, it's rarely even 50% full.
