DL is angled flat on the A330 and old recliners on the 767-300s.

2-2-2 sucks. I like the A330s HA flies from LAS-HNL, even though I'm in coach on those flights.

Presumably seasonal service reductions on European routes.

What's so wrong with 2-2-2? Lots of airlines do 2-3-2 for business class, which I consider unacceptable. Of course, 1-2-1 is wonderful, but it's probably unrealistic to expect this on all wide bodies at this time.

True but I don't think there's a single example of an airline with 2-3-2 in business on a 767. In general the 767 is a cramped aircraft in premium cabins; there are some exceptions and the new lie-flats seem lovely. Still, I'll take the BusinessElite-equipped 767 over a 757-300 any day!

I don't find the 757-300 all that ratty either; they're fairly new aircraft and I actually find them comfortable. I prefer them to the United 737 fleet running Hawaii duty on many flights now.

Remember they also use the 763-ER on some Hawaii-Japan runs.

Mid and high level, as it appears to be for any award flights on DL to/from Hawaii and the mainland.

Where are you seeing this and will there be lie flat seats on this route?

Thanks,

The LAX-HNL flight, coded as equipment 767 in ExpertFlyer, shows starting 10/28 as noted by the OP. Flights also appear on delta.com.

Would not be shocked if, rather than having one aircraft operating 2365/2364, the 767 will be connecting from one of DL's Asia-Hawaii flights and vice versa. Otherwise look for an ATL-LAX to get upgraded too
