Now for something completely different...

My wife just brought this to my attention...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...black-eye.html

I cannot conceive how this could have happened, but I do feel sorry for that poor AVOD TV.

It's hard to imagine how this could happen. I wonder what aircraft type this was. I assume BE arriving into LAX since there's a LAX luggage cart in a photo.

I wonder if she had her TV out, bent down to get something, and didn't think about the physical realities of the situation.

I guess it must be one of those cradle seats with the TVs that pop out. Difficult to see how you would be popping the TV AND have your head down to get bopped by it, unless it was her seat neighbor who was popping the TV. Love the purple hair though!

Maybe a drunken stumble? Get up to use the lav and lose one's balance? But the TV's are usually in the center console, coming up from the big center armrest between two seats, so it's hard to picture (no pun intended).

:o OK I sort of hate myself now for looking into this...but from other Tweets in her feed seems she was in ATL filming an episode of Drop Dead Diva. The person in the seat in front of her apparently reclined into her bumping her head & causing the black eye:

Really? The a$$hole infront of me almost knocked me out putting her seat back Might get a black eye Im going2 kick her seat all the way to LA ($$ editing mine for the sake of decorum)

Later: After kicking her seat form [sic] giving me a black she confronted me and laughed at the fact she gave me a black eye! What a # (offensive material after the # removed)

@MissKellyO if anybody else wants to follow the rest of the drama.

OT - I'm not a prude but man that girl has a potty mouth in her Tweets! Wonder how many of her 2 million+ followers are teen/pre-teen girls. Such a great example for younger girls.

Isn't she related to the other Osbournes? They're hardly a class act.

So she was the daughter who basically opted out of the TV reality show, right? Her mother didn't impress me positively either.

Kelly was in the show, and it basically launched her 'career' that now boasts being a panelist on a show that makes fun of what people wear and guest spots on Drop Dead Diva. The daughter who didn't participate, Aimee, tends to keep a low profile.

As my Grandfather used to say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. But it seemed she was trying to clean up her act and position herself as less of a dingbat.

(clearly too many of my brain cells are being wasted holding this random celebrity trivia.)

I thought grandparents used to say that one should only be mentioned in the press upon birth, death, and (one) marriage.

After 5 drinks, the AVOD left its base and hit her in the head. Wow. What odd technology.

Quit hatin on the O's!

Granted the kids are just famous for being famous, but Sharon seems like a real nice lady. And......

Ozzy is the man. 1978, the Spectrum in PHL, Black Sabbath and Ted Nugent. Awesome.

Going off the rails on the crazy train.

Had ths been one of us, I can only imagine the feedback we'd give on here, especially with the reported behaviour of the offending pax in front of her.

Glad the FA took care of her, but I'm not sure this is outright DL's fault unless there was a technical fault with the seat, but it sounds like an inconsiderate passenger...

;)
