1. It amazes me just how little some people have to do other than play snoopy sniffer as to who might be getting a bigger cookie or somesuch. Time to get a life.
2. Every gate ought to be equipped with one of those medi-scanners from Star Trek. The GA could just run it over anybody saying they have a disability and call out the scammers. 3. Maybe people with non-obvious disabilities ought to be handed the GA's microphone and asked to explain their need to the snoopy sniffers. |
Couldn't care less about boarding order, what I want is OFF the plane ASAP. While y'all are still struggling with your briefcases, wheelaboards, checked coats, and Muffy the Wonder Poodle your emotional service dog.

That's funny.
Agree with others, summer means more leisure flyers, more abuse. I remember on a flight I took last to STT last Feb had at least half the flight trying to board based on "small children under 2" that most had kids over 8 yrs old. |

Your rum and coke isn't that important. Relax.

Common decency and manners are a rarity these days. Having the desire to have a coke and rum immediately before a flight isn't a disability. Not a physical disability at least, maybe a mental one. You seem like the cocky guy texting while swerving in and out of lanes on the highway if you really would prioritize a PDB over someone needing an extra minute or two to go have a seat. |

Ironic that you mention that.

Nope!

The problem is they say "Now Preboarding. Preboarding is for passengers needing extra time and assistance heading down the jetway. Passengers with children under 2 board after Zone 2." Well...the people just hear "Preboarding Passengers with Children Under 2."
I am hoping though, that once AA in US air get married, things will get better* *But like you, it really doesn't affect me that much since I am sitting in first class 99.9% time (PTL)! |

I'm sure he could tell she was over 2. What difference does it make if he didn't guess her exact age? The gate is a circus but I haven't seen the guess your age and weight booths. Yet...

Had a funny experience at JFK the other day (last flight out of T3, sniff)- while standing waiting for J to be called a woman of about 35 and her 8-10ish yo daughter starts shoving through the sea of people from the outside of the gate area to get to the boarding door.
As she gets close to me,about halfway there, I (politely) told her "Don't worry, they're just preboarding, they haven't called any zones yet." She responds with "I'm preboarding, they said people with children"- to which my face contorts (couldn't help it) and I, again politely, said "They mean infants in strollers, but by all means go ahead, they won't stop you". She stopped... |

I have a low vision as well as a back condition and use the Pre-board time to get my bag stored and seat area ready and if needed use the lav before. It really helps for me to pre-board. Especially at security having a wheelchair(I find it helps especially in security to have assistance with getting my bags in order for the screener , shoes off and belt off. Its easier to have someone assist me with the belt. It takes me a bit more time than the rest to gather my things and I'm thankful for all the help that I can get.
I have had some nice passengers who have helped me as well and you can bet I'm thankful for their help. The airline lounge is a godsend for me because I like to operate in a smaller area on long lay-overs. The lounge staff is super attentive and I tip them well. |

Common decency and manners are a rarity these days. I wish common decency and manners were still around... if that was the case, the DYKWIA thread would dry up and everyone would wait their turn. Alas, that isn't the case. |

She stopped... Too many times I think to myself "they didn't call you," and the GA boards the person. |
