Domestic EC
 
I know that on Int'l EC, they will keep the seat empty if no one pays for it or "upgrades" to it. Do they do the same on domestic EC? I am looking at either exit row on a 757 (version 1) or get an aisle on an EC row that may remain empty and keep the whole row to myself.

On my 2 flights so far with ec, the FAs did refuse to let people move up into the seats if they did not pay, and there have been a few empties on each flight. I guess the policy will be that they will not put people there unless they are entitled by status, pay, or there are no other seats available.
