Strange 'stuck' segment
I was searching for flights for a multi-stop trip coming up soon (involving ATL, AMS, BHX and LHR) and went through a ton of iterations of various routings, timings, and fares, - including iterations that included one-way segments - before finally settling on one route and buying it. And now in My Trips I see the trip I bought AND with its own confirmation number, a separate KL operated AMS-LHR flight, which I did not buy. I thought maybe it was 'held' somehow and would clear out, but it hasn't. Its been five days and its still there. No confirmation email, no charge to my credit card - no pending charge either. I'm at a loss as to how it got there and why its not going away.
I know, I can just call and get it removed. On the other hand - it's kind of nice to have the option! Anybody seen something like this before? |
Umm I wouldn't wait, they might say you bought it and you are stuck.
This morning I bought a RT ticket to CDC and it showed up twice, two different confirm numbers and ticket numbers, not sure how it happened, but it's Delta IT so I immediately canceled one of them. |
Why should this surprise you, when the very same computer system told me the other day that a non-stop flight from MEM to AMS . . . .
"This flight arrives 2 days later"!!! I redid my search, and now, suddenly, it arrives 1 day later! |
Pull up the stuck itinerary and scroll to the bottom of the screen and see if there is a ticket number.
