I mean, I don't put my mouth anywhere close to the bulkhead, but we all agree that feet on a bulkhead is gross? Yes, the tray is there but I don't believe the trays are solid on the bottom. Even if the glass doesn't come directly in contact with the floor, it certainly doesn't look good.

I agree it looks weird either way, but in the latter case I don't think it's actually gross or anything.

Storing 4-903.11 Equipment, Utensils, Linens, and Single-Service and Single-Use Articles.
(A)Except as specified in ¶ (D) of this section, cleaned EQUIPMENT and UTENSILS, laundered LINENS, and SINGLE-SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES shall be stored:
(1) In a clean, dry location;
(2) Where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and
(3) At least 15 cm (6 inches) above the floor.
(B) Clean EQUIPMENT and UTENSILS shall be stored as specified under ¶ (A) of this section and shall be stored:
(1) In a self-draining position that allows air drying; and
(2) Covered or inverted.
(C) SINGLE-SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES shall be stored as specified under ¶ (A) of this section and shall be kept in the original protective PACKAGE or stored by using other means that afford protection from contamination until used.
(D) Items that are kept in closed PACKAGES may be stored less than 15 cm (6 inches) above the floor on dollies, pallets, racks, and skids that are designed as specified under § 4-204.122.

No we don't all agree feet on a bulkhead is gross. A simple look through this thread will disprove that statement. This thread reads more as a foot fetish forum then anything. I've suggested it before, put a paywall up and charge for access to this thread.

This is essentially what I was thinking when I saw it and when I posted the photo here. I'm not a health inspector and I haven't worked in a kitchen since a part time job in high school, but I figured there had to be some sort of regulation about this kind of stuff.

I'm not a health inspector either. I'm a quality systems auditor that mostly audits aerospace and automotive manufacturing. Around 10 years ago I also got into medical device and food production for a while, but have since dropped them.

I try to have a live and let live, if it's not bothering you don't worry about it, attitude towards other passengers but this baffled me. I don't understand how that could be comfortable and lying on the floor in the middle of the lounge is strange behavior.
