On a side note, I’ve noticed on the vast majority of flights the FAs are no longer telling F pax to put their seats upright during Takeoff and Landing. I’ve seen it happen once in my last 20 flights when there were visibly a number of reclined seats.
This very moment, on DL1343, there are clearly four F pax with seats fully reclined as we’re taxiing, including our young
Boyspreader.
To be clear, the FAs make the announcement, they just don’t instruct the pax to place their seat upright while doing their final walkthroughs.
Yeah, I haven’t put my phone into airplane mode yet.

Here are a few shots from my recent AUA-ATL flight. The daylight shot is how she spent the first 30 minutes of the flight until the FA told her to put her feet down. She was actually annoyed with the request, as she pointed out the seat in front of her was empty. Classy. The second image is from later in the flight when she took her sock off to inspect something on her foot by illuminating it with her phone flashlight. Her father seated next to her at the window was completely unfazed by her antics.

^^ I just don't get people, sigh. Sat near this old man who put his giant Fred Flinstone feet on the wall, and the guy on the left spent most of the flight digging out, inspecting, and then flicking his earwax. I watched people go to the bathroom in their socks and then come back to their seat on sit on top of the feet. I wipe down my whole area before settling in - I don't care what people think. Zen mode, zen mode, zen mode.....

No photo but the guy across the aisle (slightly ahead of me on an E170 so it was impossible to miss on our 40 minute ground delay) in FC was on some risqué App with half naked women and was scrolling thru and liking a bunch. Didn’t seem like Tinder as there was no swiping and everyone was half naked.

Didn’t seem like Tinder as there was no swiping and everyone was half naked.
You should have leaned over and asked if those were family pictures and how proud he must be

The guy next to me on ATL-MSP last month was holding his phone down by his lap and had his phone switched to large text. It was 6:30 in the morning and he was deep in a sexting conversation. I wasn't looking intentionally (at first) but with the way he was holding his phone, and the way I was leaning against the wall, the word spank quickly caught my eye. Let me tell you, this was a VERY in depth conversation for pre-7 am. I was amused.
Then, his phone rang. Different name from the lady he was sexting, and ended with an "Alright, I'll be home soon. Love you too."
I realized the guy looked familiar, and based on his wife's name, I recalled that I knew him from my college beverage cart days at a local country club where we were supposed to know all of the members.
Now maybe I'm in the wrong here for looking, BUT he should probably either buy a screen protector, change his font from extra large text, make sure he doesn't know his seat mate, or save his sexting for after the flight next time.
