...and by brief, I do not mean underwear.

Please use the format below for consistency purposes. Date and chronological order might be helpful as well. Thank you.

Trashed Airplane Garbage and trash filled the seats of an Airbus A332 aircraft after the conclusion of a Philadelphia Eagles charter flight from Seattle to Philadelphia last year. Photograph posted by FlyerTalk member tod701 on December 12, 2013.

Today flying back I was in the last row of BE. This was across the aisle from me. This one really blows my mind when you have a seat that can adjust to many different positions with PLENTY of leg space.

Sock feet are not offensive to me on the bulkhead, not even on the the seat back as long as not encroaching too close to the person in front. I don't pay any attention to people sock footing it up the aisles. But come to think of it, it is gross to think of socks contaminated from the bathroom floor propped up on surfaces others will touch.

I was wiping down my tray table on a recent flight and my seatmate muttered under his breath "OCDC much?" Thankfully he was connected to GoGo at the time so rather than snap at him I told him he should check this thread out and then repeat his comment. He did. And promptly asked the FA if there were any extra hot towels in the galley because "she has the right idea" and told her to check it out . He said he was going to join FT-so, in case he did (or checks in on this thread) Welcome!

This reminds me of something I saw a couple of weeks ago that I've never seen before . . . .

I was flying WN MDW/PIT - -

. . . . I saw a family of 3 putting black covers on each of their seats! They were two-piece sets - one for the seat bottom and one for the seat back! - - So, it was a 6 piece setup for the 3 of them.

I kind of didn't think much about it, til we were getting off the plane, and I was surprised to see that they left the seat covers on the seats! I guess they're disposable! They kind of reminded me of a woman's shower cap - with the elastic bunched up around the edges to allow for different size seats.

I even pointed them out to the FA and she said that she NEVER saw anything like them in 19 years of flying!

Seems a little over the top for a 55 minute flight.

If you had a little spray bottle of screen cleaner and had given a quick shot of it on the IFE display as you walked by and said, "While they're up there, would you mind?", it might have gotten a nice reaction. Then again, there's no way TSA would allow you to get screen cleaner aboard a plane, as we all know it could be used criminally.

My friend does this because her child has a severe peanut allergy. When they allow her to do so, she pre-boards the plane to wipe all surfaces with an anti-bacterial wipe and then covers their seats with old sheets.
Upon landing, she removes the sheets and throws them away.
They've never had any issues with other passengers or, thankfully, a bad allergic reaction.

With one of the products claiming they're also a BED BUG barrier! Never know when you're going to get bed bugs from airline seats!

No picture since it happened too fast, but the guy across the aisle from me was using his hot towel to catch up on some personal hygiene by doing a really good job moping up the gunk out of his ears...

Then a moment after he was done, he wiped the tray table down with the same hot towel.
