For me it's no problem at all.
I am little uncomfortable when the guy sitting next to me put his cell/BB on side table/arm rest on my side.
Am I missing something?

I bet the nasty feet up on the EATS menu is on a flight to/from California, particularly Southern California. Those are the people that wear the flip-flops on board (already unacceptable for a guy) and then they take them off and put their bare feet up! This is not your beach! GROSS!!!

NO! Gotta stick up for my native California!
BOS to SLC.
And not flip-flops...worse, the old sockless loafer/topsider thing. It's the "fashion" that refuses to die. For the last 35 years or so, I've been waiting for that "style" to die. But it never does.
That woman with her feet up on the seat like that? My goodness, how can that even be comfortable? That is the most limber "plus-size" person I've ever seen!
I often wonder about the people with their feet up on seats or the bulkhead; comfort or boredom?

I think people overreact to the feet thing. Bare feet and putting feet up on seatbacks and bulkheads is rude and classless, but not nasty. Hands are dirtier than feet.

I myself would probably die of shame if I did something like that. I wonder if they feel at all embarrassed?

I was going to say that airline fares have become so low that people who would normally ride in a Greyhound bus are now riding in an airplane. However, I forgot that money and class do not necessarily go together.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why someone would want or feel that it is acceptable to remove their shows on a freaking airplane.
Disgusting. Classless. Selfish.

And what's with all you people taking these surreptitious pictures, anyway? Reminds me of the creepy guys on the Japanese trains trying to be all sneaky w/ their cell phone cameras. (And failing).

I don't think they do, and if they do then it is definitely not the standard. Although if they reuse skymags (and I don't see why they shouldn't, although it does make me mad to have my sudoku and crossword solved, sometimes incorrectly). However, I've seen FAs hand new menus out of plastic. What I don't understand though is why they print those menus in the first place. It would surely be more economical and ecological to dedicate a page in skymag for the menu.

The funny thing about the pic with the woman's feet on the seat is that it looks like the woman beside her and the man behind her have passed out from the smell
