You know those TV screens in front of the bulkhead seats?

Someone was using their feet to operate them. So gross.

well if that's true at least we know this incident didn't happen in an exit row.

If they don't have arms their feet are cleaner? :p

Sometimes prisoners being transported are handcuffed. Is it OK for them to use their feet even though they have arms?

No, but why would that make a difference?

Fortunately I don't have any practical experience with this hypothetical situation.

OK then, how about an unruly/violent passenger who gets duct-taped into their seat by the flight crew? Can they use their feet on the screen?

Leg cuffs can't be used, but the law (in the US) says something about prisoners needing to be restrained from full use of their hands by a device that provides for minimum movement. So like, a waist chain with front cuffs.

Which is why that guy you see in the window seat in the last row of the plane who got on before everyone else can't scratch his face without bending forward.

Tidbit of the day -

Handcuffs are ALLOWED in carry on bags.

In all seriousness I would assume they are.

They let prisoners use the IFE?

No photographic evidence, but my daughter was in the ATL F Skyclub today, when she suddenly heard loud moaning....after trying to figure out where it came from, turns out an older gentleman (with his wife beside him) was watching porn on his phone with the sound on....oblivious that for at least 45 seconds everyone within 30 feet around him could hear exactly what was happening!

Didn't have much time for a photograph since my hands were full (good thing I had already gotten my food), but in the ATL T club tonight, a guy went to town blowing his nose. A good, juicy one, with some gold digging. Then he went straight to the buffet and served himself. After, he then finally used hand sanitizer, because, you know, serving handles have germs.

BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU JAGOFF!!!!

Ok, I'm a trauma nurse. I *like* blood and guts as much as the next trauma nurse.....but all respiratory secretions are just gross! I hate hearing old guys blowing their noses in public. And around food in public!? Enough to make me wanna faint.
It takes a LOT to make me queasy, but you sir/madam have done so.

That new diamond pattern on the bulkhead just seems to be soothing to sore feet! :D
