KLM/AF lounge last week. Glad to see the signage but sad that the shoes & feet thing has gotten so out of control.

I saw someone in the fancier side of business casual wear with his feet on a table like this in one of the LGA Sky Clubs, and I thought it was trashy and inappropriate. (Especially given that other people are going to put their food plates there later!) I wish those signs would show up in more places.

I’m at the point in life when I’m starting to call people out (nicely) for stupid stuff in airports (they can’t have guns right?). Last week, a guy decided to cut in front of an obvious line of 10+ people in the FC line when boarding started. He jawed back at me then went to the back of the line. Before being seated, he started up again and I told him he needed to get a clue and to think about it. Halfway through the flight, he got up to use the facilities and came over to to shake my hand and apologize - a class move.

That AND dirty shoes resting where conventionally people's clean clothes would be. I mean just discourteous to the next person using that chair.

Would you be happier if he had taken his shoes off and had his feet in the air either bare or in smelly socks?

Certainly not, that sounds worse! What would give you that idea? Just because someone is gross, doesn't mean it makes it better that they could have been more gross.

This is a new twist on the feet in odd places...

(in the comments, it was confirmed this person did have two perfectly good hands)

Finally a foot photo that is truly disgusting and worthy of this thread.

Their talent lie elsewhere.

They made a very stern announcement at one of the DTW Skyclubs last week about keeping your shoes on AND keeping them off the furniture.

Maybe the passenger was a CO refugee who got asylum at AA before heading to greener pastures at DL to practice using school-era skills of changing the channels on the TV and/or cable box using his feet?

I am pretty sure that it wasnít that guyís first and only flight doing this kind of thing, and Iím certain some others have done this kind of thing on planes before. The upside of economy class seats that arenít in the bulkhead is that there just arenít that many men in their 50s able to do this kind of thing when seated in most economy class seats.
