Just now, DL1343 LAX>DTW, this kid reclining in 5A during boarding was demonstrating the concept of “Manspreading” while Tweeting for us.

On a side note, I’ve noticed on the vast majority of flights the FAs are no longer telling F pax to put their seats upright during Takeoff and Landing. I’ve seen it happen once in my last 20 flights when there were visibly a number of reclined seats.
This very moment, on DL1343, there are clearly four F pax with seats fully reclined as we’re taxiing, including our young
Boyspreader.
To be clear, the FAs make the announcement, they just don’t instruct the pax to place their seat upright while doing their final walkthroughs.
Yeah, I haven’t put my phone into airplane mode yet.

I can take one if you like? And by kid, I’m guessing 30-ish, lest you think I’m stalking young’uns. Of course, I can crop it down to just the feet on the armrests of the seat in front of him if that’s less of an affront to your senses?

It’s one photo of someone sitting right in front of me. Why try to force it into something it’s clearly not? Of course they don’t say anything. They just take pictures and post it on anonymous message boards. I hardly think this is “disgusting”. Maybe his friend/partner is sitting next to him. He also does not have his feet stretched out encroaching on the person in front of him. I don’t agree with this behavior, but I would not rank this as even in my top 100 list of disgusting things I have witnessed people do while in the public eye.

That kid has his shoes on, and he's just sort of propping up his feet. He's only encroaching slightly on the seat to his right, and really not since the seat in front of him is reclined. His knees are not into the other seat-space, so there's no manspreading.
My judgment is that this particular incident is unworthy of inclusion here. Fail.

So let’s say that persons father,mother,sister etc is in the same cabin and witnesses you taking a picture of their brother/son. I am pretty sure “creep” would be one of the first few words out of their mouth when telling that person about the person behind them taking pictures.

It's not clear to me how the person in that pic is taking up two seats. And those feet would have to be MUCH higher to be near "eye level" of another seated guest.
