I know you're only kidding, but, it's actually from the movie "Tommy Boy". I found it during a pic search. Here's the 2:21 clip from the movie that's EXTREMELY FUNNY - - AND possibly appropriate the post in question . . . if you have 2:21 to get a quick laugh!

OMG. Can't stand that. At least put on some socks or slippers. I'm guessing that bunion is from the high heels she just shucked off. My ECCO's may not be stylish but my feet are healthy.

I've only ever used the ORD SC in the AM when I was taking UA Express flights out of the same terminal. But the last time I used it one of the dragons chewed me out for having my feet on the coffee table by the fireplace. If the president can do it in the White House, I feel like it's OK in an airline lounge. It's not like it was a dining table or my feet were disgusting. IDK. I get that it's not proper but it is a lounge and I was up at 3:30 AM that day. Only time I've ever been scolded by a DL employee.

And SkyClub users don't want the dirt, grime, and other mess from the bottom of shoes on a coffee table where we put out plates, glasses, electronic devices, and other personal materials...

Thanks, Mom, for the unnecessary judgment. I wasn’t asking for comments on my behavior but your post will spur me on to do it again.

Ugh. I can agree that having npthing on is a bit disgusting. (At least keep socks on) However the whole issue of feet on the bulkhead is confusing. Are people licking the wall or something? I get not putting feet on a table, just dont get the bulkhead issue.

I don't think being spiteful qualifies as DYKWIA -- and I didn't use my status, job or wealth (of which I don't have anyway). There's no pictures on passenger shaming with people who have their clean shoe feet on a coffee table and there are a lot with bare feet on a bulkhead, so right or wrong those are the social mores. There are also a lot of pictures of 3 of our 4 last presidents with their feet on a coffee table, so to some extent it is socially acceptable although I admit not ideal behavior. Howste had a good point, anything after that is just piling it on to pile on and prove superiority for reasons unknown to me. There is a definite difference in the acceptability of a clean shoe foot on a coffee table versus a bare foot on a bulkhead. If you've ever gotten athlete's foot from the gym you will understand why.
Although if people want, I will take a picture of my shoes on a coffee table and share it so they can distribute it to the passenger shaming and disgusting acts threads / groups and see how much traction it gets.
