Just don't use the lighter if it's this guy wearing the shoes!

I'm more worried about seeing my husband's photo on here.

On a recent flight, we were sitting in the F bulkhead. Boarding hadn't even finished when he looked at me and said, "Is it okay if I take my shoes off yet?" <face palm> I told him he had to at least wait until after takeoff and cover up his feet with the blanket. He elected to remain shoed for the entire flight.

I've shown him photos from this thread in the past, so at least he's aware of what might happen.

All these people that take off their shoes better hope they don't end up in the Hudson. That goes for all those that wear flip flops, etc. too

Mr. Sammy

I so wish I had my camera out faster, but this happened. So quickly..

Waiting to board @ SFO today, a guy quickly made his way to the coveted SP first to board position. I board a few people behind him.

In his rush to sit down, fumbling with his bags , he gets a pale look on his face and declares to the FA that he has lost his sandwich. She is lighthearted about it as he frantically searches for it. People buy sandwiches. All the time to eat later on the flight, right? Nothing unusual.

Well a minute later he finds it in his bag, unwrapped, no wrapper of any kind present. He shoves the half hoagie in his mouth so that it I hanging out like a beek. He continues to shuffle his stuff around all the while the sandwich I flopping around in his mouth.....

FA was speechless and all we could do was grin...

Can't put little Fiji, the service pooch, on the floor... That's where those other patron's bare feet have tracked bathroom fluids to.

Why do dogs need to be in the lounge at all?

Can't deny service animals. Some staff interpret the rules to mean they can't even ask to see the physician's documentation of the NEED for the service animal (emotional comfort, etc.) because it may be a HIPAA violation.

Correct, service animals can not be denied. But emotional support animals can be denied entrance to any place except a few. On to an airplane is one as well for housing.

The lounge dragons need to be educated that such animals must be in cages or not allowed into the lounges.
