LAX Skyclub sent me a handwritten birthday card
My birthday is next week, and I just received a HANDWRITTEN card in the mail from the LAX Skyclub. I'm Diamond and have visited the LAX club in transit perhaps ~25 times over the last few years.
Anyone else received this? I'm not special and certainly not a HVC, so it was definitely a surprise!

Out of curioistity, are you certain it really was handwritten?
The computer generated simualteted handwriting is getting failrly good now.
Though this is DL IT, so maybe that possibility is unlikely.

Oh Corinne
She was writing my birthday card last time I saw her. She's now a day shift-er for those who knew her.

I got one this past weekend, definitely handwritten, for my birthday at the end of May. Definitely a nice touch and appreciated.
As a data point, I've passed through LAX SC a grand total of once this year, in mid-April. I'd just arrived from BKK on KE, so I'd been travelling for more than 24 hours at that point and probably looks quite a bit worse for the wear, thanks primarily to the TSA mess at LAX T5. All I did at the SkyClub was take a shower and ask the hostesses to have something done about that ridiculous elevator that runs so slowly it might as well not run at all. (I was told that DL tried to do something during the SC remodel but "the city" wouldn't let them.) Not sure what got me or my birthday noticed in such a short visit, but it was nice of someone.
