DL Please put back the A330-200 on AMS-BOM-AMS route

traveled AMS-BOM on the crappy 767-300 ER.
Crappy seats both in BE and in EC.
Non-working and/or irregular working AVOD.

Been told that the rumor is that the 767-300ER will be the equipment for now through the Summer of 2012!

Delta = please put back the A330-200 equipment on this sector AMS-BOM-AMS.

A332 = 32J, 207Y

767 = 36J, 174Y

Please identify the route(s) that should lose the 332 to place it on AMS-BOM.

This is not new nor a 'rumor'...the 763ER is operating AMS-BOM the entire summer, and did the same last year.
In the last two years (at least), it has been an A332 during the winter, and the 767 in the summer.

Yea it has been this way for a while. It is all about putting more seats on routes that need the lift (mainly US-Europe routes during the peak summer season for travel). I know that MSP-CDG gets a A332 in the summer and 767 in the winter so really no rocket science to figure out that likely an A332 is being pulled from a route currently operated to do this.

Btw, does Delta have any slack in their schedules for 332? Delta is scheduled to reinstate the flight between DTW and HND in May. In addition, Delta continues to operate nonstop service between LAX and HND with 332 as well.

What is so special with BOM that deserves a 330?

The yields to India suck. Since passengers aren't willing to pay more, why should you dedicate a more expensive aircraft to the route?
