Delta Safety Record

Was looking at airline crash and accident rates and apparently Delta is top draw.

Could you please post your upcoming flights so I know which ones to not get one?

I will be on every Delta flight and all the safe airlines so run along to Aeroflot, since I won't be on those flights.

Commie Airways needs no extra jinxing... they are more than capable to mess things up on their own...

Definitely looking forward to my Aeroflot flight connecting to Iran Air next month...

Way cool! You might be able to fly on their 747SP, which may still be the only one that is still commercial service.

I hear that they have "enriched" their service as well...;)

Too soon?

Did you even look at the data you posted? You may want to clarify your opening statement. Delta is NOT "top draw", by any means. In the Twenty years of data column,Delta would be the second BEST (safest) behind Southwest (though I wonder with the merger it will inherit Airtran's record)

In the ten year column, Delta is third behind Southwest and American.

Southwest is the safest in the world - it will never crash.

I'm sure Singapore Airlines thought the same thing at one point.

There are many airlines that have great safety records, take a look at Qantas which has never had a single crash since it was founded...a lot of maintenance related issues and incidents, but never a single crash.

Delta does have a good safety record the last couple decades, but let's hope that aviation continues to become safer. Doesn't matter which airline.

I'd say any of the airlines with 0 are better than Delta with 1.

And this only counts the past 20 years. Go back further and Delta has had more than one incident.

(BTW, don't ask the OP about B6, trust me on this)

OP, what about B6 :D
