50k offer: 2 Browser Trick?
 
Hi All,

Just received 50k offer (25k 1st spend, 25k after 5k in 3 months), seems to be targeted..

Just wondering if the 2 Browser trick would work on this, or is the 2 Browser trick only for CitiAA cards?

Apply for the same card at the same time on two different browsers, get approved for them 2x so you get double miles

The two browser trick only works on the CitiBank website.

LOL I would do it 100 times, dishonest or not, but Citi limits you to 2 applications in 60 days.

It's not quite as clear as that. Citi is aware of this deficiency and could take reasonably easy steps to prevent it. But they have tacitly decided that up to 2 similar applications is fine with them.

This is similar to their previous "rule" that a person becomes a "new" cardmember after 6 months. Now it's more like 18+ months.

All of these parameters are within their control and they have chosen not to more strictly enforce them.
