MCO Eateries inside security

IS there anywhere good to eat there? It seems like I have never been there in the evening in all my years. Prefer to be on the cleared side of security, but will walk if the food is good enough...

Gracias

Orlando International Airport (MCO) - It's the real McCoy!

The only thing airside in the Delta terminal that would count as "good" is a reduced-menu Outback. Other than that, its Burger King. On the landside, the options arent exciting...a Chilis, Macaroni's Grill, and a Fox Sports Grill. MCO's dining options are rather lackluster.

Also, don't forget the Hyatt.

I once had some very drunken chicken strips at the place across from the skyclub...

The fast food is good before security though. They have a Panda Express and a Chick-fil-a, two of my favorites.

The Outback post-security usually puts out good food, but it's very difficult to cut steak with a plastic knife. I'll ask for several because they dull before I'm done with the steak. Usually I stick with beer and a blooming onion for that reason.

The limited Outback is pretty much it. I vote for Macoroni Grill or the Hyatt pre security....

They now have Ruby Tuesday on the opposite airside....

I agree the Outback is not bad- I think you can get their filet and have it with the Sweet potato/brown sugar/butter/sour cream which is rather good.
I would wash it down with American Beer though. Not keen on Fosters personally.

Definitely agree with the Hyatt. The breakfast is great.

A rather nice piece of meat too if I may say so.

Was just there, airport is full of garbage food. Which completely supports the typical traveler making MCO a destination stop.

Because healthy people never go to Disney... or go to conferences in Orlando... Or do business with one of our many non-tourism related companies... Or visit family in Central Florida :(

Outback may not be fine dining, but I'd hardly qualify it as garbage.

I've eaten at McCoy's in the Hyatt pre-security, and at Nature's Table and Qudoba in airside 3.

Here's some items that have been "spotted" at the airport on Foodspotting

Such as artery-hating Darden Restaurants? :D
