Another theory: AF doesn't want to give out any more award business seats before FBATR roll-out (which would mean it's quite close), that will charge many fold more for them at 1cpm valuation.

This is the worst case scenario, but plausible.

So what we saw about a month ago wasn't a glitch, but getting ready for another stealth devaluing. There will probably be an occasional upgrade to be found, so they can still advertise a benefit, but it probably will be very hard to find them in practice.

It appears that the "search by schedule" functionality is not working correctly, but the "search by price" is. For example, when searching SLC-MRU by price as RT 2/26 - 3/5/13, I get flights for 120,000 miles in business. When trying to search segment by segment by schedule SLC-CDG-MRU-CDG-SLC, it fails to retrieve business seats for the 2nd segment, CDG-MRU on 2/7/13.

Seems this bug is back. I've been trying to book a flight on AF/KLM and each time, delta.com shows availability, allows me to select the segments, till I reach the confirmation page which displays:

"We're sorry. One or more of the flights you selected just sold out. Please search again to view and select alternate flights."

It's coming up consistently on ALL the flights I have checked, including AS.

I even tried calling, and although the rep was able to see the AS flights, she was not able to book it, saying that AS would not confirm. In the case of the AF segment the DL rep says she could not "see" availability, even though both AF and DL.com shows available.

Has anyone booked a partner award flight lately?

Seems that economy can still be booked.. Limited to J on KLM/AF/AS.. I haven't checked others

Just earlier this week I booked AF/AZ flights from JFK-FCO in September at the low award level. Found "Classic" award flights on FB and booked them on the phone with DL

Personally, I usually would not trust the website to book award flights, so if you can't, just move onto the phone.

The thing is, I am finding availability on FB but can't book either on the website or on the phone.

RAIZ, did you call DL in USA or Singapore? As posted many times, people have found Singapore agents much better able to find and book. I had the same experience a while back in getting 2 business tickets on AZ. Only Singpore call centre was able to find and book them for me.

I am having the same problem trying to book biz AF in Oct and Nov.-always get the message of one or more of the flts have sold out no matter what combination or gateway I put in.

Can someone explain this to me

I had something like this happen to me too. Check with AF.us, and if AF.us and EF don't agree send EFV a PM.
